Operative Hysteroscopy


During Surgery Your skin will be washed with antiseptic and the surrounding area covered with sterile drapes, this ensures that the operating field is clean and sterile. A camera (hysteroscope) is introduced through the vagina and cervix into the uterus. Any polyps, fibroids or adhesions are cut and removed. After Surgery This is a day case procedure and you may leave hospital within a few hours, you should recover fully in 24 hours. Follow up will be in 6 weeks.
